Hair Restoration

INFORMATION FOR MALE AND FEMALE HAIR LOSS
Microdermal needing has long been used to induce collagen stimulation by causing micro-trauma to the dermis of the skin. It is done with a device, a micro-needling pen, that passes over the dermis and scratches the surface of the skin.
This induces an inflammatory response, causing the skin to commence a healing mode. The healing mode will activate collagen cells to repair the skin. Collagen is vital in keeping that youthful appearance to the skin. This treatment has been widely used for many years to help with scarring, pigmentation, broken capillaries and now in the treatment of androgenic alopecia and alopecia areata (HAIRLOSS).

It is now thought that microneedling can help induce stem cells in the follicle that may lead to hair growth. Microneedling will also allow for the absorption of products used to treat hair loss. For hair restoration we use a unique serum from INNO AESTHETICS that is specifically tailored for female or male hair loss. In addition we can use Exsomes to stimulate the regeneration of the hair follicles. Results can be seen as quickly as 1 month after the first treatment.

How often should I have treatment?

For all hair restoration programs, you will need 4 microneedling sessions spaced at 2 weekly intervals. The Inno Derma hair restoration program requires the use of 2 at home treatment products to help encourage hair growth.

1. Inno Derma Hair Lotion that is to be applied every night after washing the hair.
2. Inno Derma Scalpeel, a serum to help with the oil control to the scalp.
Does it hurt?

There is mild discomfort to the scalp as we pass the microneedling pen over the areas of the scalp where the hair is the thinnest. Once we have passed over the area to create enough channels for the serum to absorb into the dermis, you may experience some mild stinging for a few minutes. This sensation should settle quickly.

What are the side effects of microdermal needling treatment?

You may find that the scalp may feel a little tender, this may last for approximately 24 hours. The scalp may feel a little tight and tingly. You may continue to use the Inno Derma Hair Lotion the day after treatment.
What should I do or not do after a microdermal needling treatment for hair restoration?

You may continue your daily activities the following day, we would advise you to refrain from high intensive activity on the day of the treatment. Please do not was your hair the night of the treatment to allow the serums to absorb into the scalp for optimal results. Please avoid all spas and swimming pools for 48 hours.
